This series, available on Netflix, uses dark and irreverent humor in telling the story of teen girls in Derry, Northern Ireland, in the early 1990s. Rated TV-MA, it includes a healthy dose of the f-word and content geared toward older teens and the adults who remember being older teens. In contrast with the antics of the teen girl protagonists, the setting is Northern Ireland during the Troubles of the early 1990s.
