  • Enjoyable Show About The Impressionists
Three part BBC docudrama about the Impressionists focusing on many of the artists and their most influential works. It is a fact based story relying on letters and documents from the period, but also well acted and directed. Much of it is really beautiful! Although there are notable omissions, it is a worthwhile watch, especially if you are going to visit the Musee d’Orsay or the Musee de l’Orangerie in Paris because you will be learning more about the history of many of the pieces you’ll be seeing in person– lucky you!
